Tri-County Health Department approves "Use Permit" program for Individual Sewage Disposal Systems
The Tri-County Health Department (TCHD) recently approved Regulation Number 1-11, a "Use Permit" program to provide additional levels of protection of valuable community water resources. Regulation 1-11 becomes effecttive July 1, 2011, and includes requirements for Indiviual Sewage Disposal Systems (ISDS). TCHD has prepared a "Questions and Answer" sheet that outlines the basics of the program. You can view a copy of that document by clicking here (PDF).
