Metrolist director position available
The Aurora Association of REALTORS® Board of Directors is seeking potential candidates for the position of Director of Metrolist, Inc.
Two REALTOR® members from each shareholder board/association serve on the directorship for terms established by the local board/association. AAR has one position available for a three-year term starting November 2008.
Candidates applying for the position need a good balance of common sense, sound judgment, business knowledge, financial expertise and a strong background in the real estate industry. They should have experience with, and a good working knowledge of, the Multiple Listing Service, and be knowledgeable of AAR’s strategic goals and business objectives. Directors are expected to maintain two-way communication between the AAR Board of Directors and Metrolist, Inc.
Metrolist Directors should plan to attend quarterly Metrolist Board of Directors’ meetings and planning sessions and are encouraged to be active participants on assigned Metrolist Committees or Task Forces. In addition, Metrolist Directors shall prepare written or verbal reports for the directorate of AAR to report on issues, services, programs and products that have not been deemed confidential and agenda items or decisions concerning Metrolist operations.
