AAR members volunteer at Aurora Home Ownership Education Fair

AAR members presented two seminars on “Knocking Out the Obstacles to Homeownership” at the Aug. 2 Home Owner Education Fair at the Summit Event Center. Mitch Myers, Metro Brokers - Myers Realty, Michigan Hill, United Country Trevey Broker, and Tom Gould, WIN Home Inspection, stayed true to theme, sparring with each other and the crowd to educate about the many aspects of purchasing a home.

AAR’s booth at the Aug. 2 Home Owner Education Fair was filled with brochures, booklets, and a popular candy basket and staffed by AAR’s dedicated professionals there to help Aurora citizens learn about the steps to homeownership. Carol Suppala, David DeElena, David Barber, Adam Malachi, Barb Cline, Ron Gilley and Tom Gould were among the AAR members who donated their time.

Teaching potential homebuyers about the steps to owning a home is serious, but AAR members who worked at the Home Ownership Education Fair also made it fun with a boxing theme outlining how to knock out the obstacles to owning a home. Pictured are Mitch Myers, Sharon Henderson and Michigan Hill, who participated in a creative skit. They were joined by AAR members B.J. Kirkpatrick, Tom Gould
and Priscilla Madera.
